  11. Our application is causing a system bomb (ID=03) under the following conditions
  12. and would greatly appreciate some assistance in finding the cause:
  13.  
  14. 1.  Launch the application from the Finder by double clicking one of its
  15. documents.
  16. 2. Do anything and quit.  Application works fine.
  17. 3. Immediately launch the application a second time from the Finder by double
  18. clicking one of its documents and the bomb occurs.
  19. 4. Conditions:  The bomb only occurs on either an SE (System 6.0.4) or Mac
  20. Classic (System 6.0.6 with init) running under Finder.  It does not occur under
  21. MultiFinder on these machines.  It also does not occur on a Mac II (System
  22. 6.0.4), or Max IIcx (System 6.0.4) running under either Finder or MultiFinder.
  23. The bomb also does not occur when the application alone is launched.  It only
  24. occurs when a document is opened for the second time, independent of whether
  25. the opening occurs from the Finder or from within the applcation.

  27. The application was built on a Mac IIx (System 6.0.7, 4MB RAM) using MA 2.02p
  28. and MPW 3.1.  It has no make file and uses MABuild Discovery -LinkMap.
  29.  
  30. Anyone have any suggestions?  This is stopping us from shipping so that
  31. whatever advice any of you have would be much appreciated.
